  14. What is SKEM?
  15. ==============
  16. SKEM is an easy to use (user friendly) schematic
  17. drawing program designed to provide you the user
  18. with the ability to produce high quality printed
  19. schematic drawings.

  21. System Requirements
  22. ===================
  23. - IBM or compatible computer with 640K minimum.
  24.  
  25. - VGA video system (640x480 at 16 colors)
  26.  
  27. - Hard drive
  28.  
  29. - Microsoft compatible mouse (required).
  30.  
  31. - HP or compatible laser printers only.
  32.   (sorry, no dot matix printers at this time)

  36. Registration
  37. ============
  38. SKEM is distributed as SHAREWARE.   It took many
  39. hours to write this program.    If you find this
  40. program useful, a donation of $22 dollars is not
  41. too much to ask.  Please return the registration
  42. form (REGISTER.FRM) included with this program.

  44. If you register SKEM,  you will receive a symbol
  45. editor program which will allow you  the ability
  46. to create additional schematic symbols. You will
  47. also receive the latest  version of SKEM and any
  48. additional  SYMBOLS.  You will be  notified when
  49. enhancements (Upgrades) are available.

  51. Warranty
  52. ========
  53. SKEM is provided "as is" without warranty of any
  54. kind.  The entire risk as to the performance and
  55. results of the program is assumed by you.  Also,
  56. I the author do not warrant, guarantee,  or make
  57. any representations regarding the use of, or the
  58. results of the use of the program.   You rely on
  59. the program and results solely at your own risk.
  60. RT's Software "cannot" accept responsibility for
  61. system damage,  loss of profit,  or any special,
  62. incidental,  or consequential  damages resulting
  63. from the use or inability to use this product.

  70. SKEM is distributed solely as SHAREWARE.   Under
  71. this concept, you may use this SHAREWARE version
  72. (unregistered) for a reasonable  period of time,
  73. which I consider to be 30 days,  after which you
  74. must either register your copy or stop using it.

  79. You are free, in fact encouraged,  to distribute
  80. the SHAREWARE  (unregistered) version of SKEM as
  81. long as the files contained in the original SKEM
  82. archive are distributed in their original state.
